Kendrick Brother's War Room Christian Movie 2015

Today is a big day in the Christian film industry! The Kendrick Brothers, who have created some of the most recognizable Christian movies over the years like Fireproof and Courageous, have just released their fifth film, War Room. The movie premiered in theaters today and is estimated to finish in 2nd place at the box office this weekend. This is an amazing feat for the Kendrick Brothers, as they're competing with other big name secular movies in the box office total. By comparison, the very successful God's Not Dead placed 4th in the box office on its opening weekend. If you haven't heard of this film, the synopsis reads:

"With great jobs, a beautiful daughter (Alena Pitts) and a dream house, the Jordans seem to have it all. Appearances can be deceiving, however, as husband Tony (T.C. Stallings) flirts with temptation and wife Elizabeth (Priscilla Shirer) becomes increasingly bitter, crumbling under the strain of a failing marriage. Their lives take an unexpected turn for the better when Elizabeth meets her newest client, Miss Clara (Karen Abercrombie), who encourages the couple to find happiness through prayer."

War Room is a bit of a change from previous movies by the Kendrick Brothers, as it is the first to not be released under the Sherwood Pictures branding. Instead, this is being produced by Sony's Affirm Films and The Kendrick Brothers brand. We had the chance to view this movie a few days ago, and are readying our review for release on September 1st on our Youtube channel.
