Merry Christmas, everyone! With Christmas just a few days away, I wanted to mention one of my favorite Christmas movies that I always try to watch around this time of year. The Nativity Story is a movie which retells the birth of Christ, and is definitely a compelling movie to watch every Christmas season. It always seems to help me focus on the true meaning of Christmas, and keeps me from getting distracted by everything else this time of year. The full description reads:
"The most magnificent portrayal of the nativity ever! Witness the struggles and joys of the Holy Family---and the Savior's birth at the turning point of history. Epic in scope yet intimate in detail, this major motion picture spared nothing to ensure historical accuracy and cinematic power. A film to be cherished for years to come!"
While there are a few historical inaccuracies (such as the wisemen showing up at the stable), it is still a very powerful movie and definitely worth watching. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
