Pretty much since the release of Courageous 3 years ago, people have been asking when the Kendrick Brothers will release another film. Finally, we have some more information on when we'll finally be able to see their next project! The Kendrick Brothers released a statement last week saying they had wrapped principal photography on their fifth film and that a new film was on the way! A synopsis of the film reads:
"A family-friendly drama, the film is about learning to fight the right kinds of battles. Filled with humor, wit and heart, it follows Tony and Elizabeth Jordan, a middle-class couple, and their daughter, Danielle, as they struggle through personal, marital and spiritual issues. Their lives are forever changed after Elizabeth meets an elderly widow who helps her develop a secret prayer room in her home."
The Kendrick Brothers are very well known in the Christian film industry for their hit films Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous. This will be their first film to not be released by Sherwood Pictures, and will instead be released under Provident Films and Affirm Films. It was also their first time filming outside of their hometown of Albany, as they have been shooting in Charlotte, NC instead.
We at CFC are always excited to learn of a new Kendrick Brothers film and we are looking forward to bringing you all the latest news as this film progresses from idea to final release!
